Audio Production

The newly built Audio Graphics studio is fully equipped and capable of any audio production project. I currently work in Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, and Reaper. I implement the latest plugins from Waves, Fabfilter, and the full IZotope Suite for audio restoration.

 

I work with Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and extracting audio for cleanup. All of the editing tools can be used to clean up audio from the video track producing high-quality audio for video output.

Artistic Video and Image Editing

We use the latest image editing technology including Adobe CC Premier Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic with Topaz Labs AI and On1 AI plugins. With the new Adobe Firefly AI engines, the future of editing is upon us.

 

The most important part of the process is to work with artist to bring the artist’s vision to light.

  • Advanced AI editing including background or large objects replacement, extending images or creating AI compositions.
  • Upscaling Resolution (if necessary): digital images can be enlarged in pixel dimensions using Topaz Labs AI or On1 AI plugins. The process has amazing results enlarging smaller images by up to 600%.
  • Denoise and Image Refinement: With AI plugins and Photoshop filters unwanted noise is reduced and the resolution is enhanced giving clarity and sharpness. Much care is taken to preserve the original details.
  • Photo Retouching and Restoration: including unwanted photo elements such as blemishes, wires in the sky, or other photobombs, or dust, scratches, lines, streaks,.
  • Color Balancing: Find the correct white and black points, colors, and details, adjust sliders for the entire image, and correct or enhance specific image areas. 
  • Stylized Effects: Apply LUTs and other filters to create overall moods.
  • Output: Save files for various end uses.

Multi-Sensory Non-Linear Storytelling

As we move into the fully digitized audio-visual age, we begin to see the world from a different non-linear perspective. Instead of thinking about a song in linear terms going from one note to the next, we also see in a non-linear way how each element of music is interdependent on each other—the rhythms, harmonies and melodies all work together to create a song. 

 

In the same way, we can see and hear how each element of art and music is interdependent on each other. In cinematography, directors use mood music and visuals to dramatically help their story. ColorSound compares the elements of art and music in a scientific and aesthetic way to fully explore the possibilities of a universal audiographical language. A soundpainting contains elements that represent each other in a purposeful way.
